I tried this site, ApplicancePartspros, but they don't carry. Also, where would the thermal fuse and harness be located on a portable unit? Thanks.

Since the parts break down does not show a thermal fuse (at least I cannot find one) and you do not know where it is, how do you know that it has one? Never seen a GE with a thermal fuse. I am assuming you are referring to a thermal fuse that protects a control board. This unit uses a mechanical timer.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/7/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		My unit stopped functioning when I realized the plug (which separates into a wire harness,with a hot, neutral and ground wire got disconnected). When I turned on this shorted the unit, caused a spark and a pop sound, so I assumed I heard the fuse pop. Any suggestions on where the problem is?

You will have to open the unit up to find the problem. Start under the unit as that is the easiest and if it looks OK then check in the door. Would also be a good idea to check if the unit is getting voltage.
