Hi,
I have a Bosch dishwasher that has been working fine. Recently, we ran the unit and it was making a humming noise. When the cycle completed detergent was still in the dispenser and the dishes were not clean. Any thoughts on where to start to diagnose the problem? Any help is appreciated.

I'm not an expert but is the machine doing anything? could be a variety of things your switchboard? don't know if that model has a fuse pull it up and see the diagram and see if it has one that could be a culprit.

The machine will run a full cycle. When it starts there is a humming sound and seems to be humming throughout the cycle. When the cycle is complete the detergent door is open but the detergent is still in the "hopper" and the dishes are not clean.
