I have a Fridgidaire side by side Model # FRS26R2AW4. It is thawed out in the morning but starts making ice again in the afternoon. I just put a new relay and plug and capacitor, run, 2 (ordered from you site). Plugged in and compressor and everything was running fine. Freezer cooled to 5.5 degrees. It satisfied itself, and temp is now at 40 degrees and it hasn't cut on again. It is making a "pinging" noise like it is trying to start back up. I have read on your site that it could be the defrost timer. (Is this the same as an ADC IV kit? If it is, the one in my fridge doesn't look the same as shown on your site. Mine is a white circuit board with a plug and 3 or 4 separate wires that plug on individual terminals. Your kit just shows one plug.)
I have read that the new ADC IV kit that you can order now, doesn't have the same number of wires as what is on the original. Also, does this come with a wiring diagram?

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Frigidaire FRS26R2AW4 Frigidaire/refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

As far as I can tell the kit (Item 23 in Section 2) does not include instructions but if you click on the part's picture a new page will open with a Q&A section that has install info.

I am not sure what "It is making a "pinging" noise" is.

Here is the wiring diagram.

Does the condenser/compressor fan run?
It is wired in parallel with the compressor so if it is running the compressor is getting voltage but for some reason will not start.
I would double check this with a meter. You should have 120 volts between Light blue and red wires.
Compressor probably has a mechanical problem.
