Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/4/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		I have a Whirlpool Thin Twin stack washer/dryer unit, about 8 years old. The washer works fine. Today, for no apparent reason, the dryer stopped working!! Pressing the power switch, nothing happens. I've been looking through other forums online. As far as I can tell, the door switch seems to be fine. Could the power pushbutton switch be bad? Or the thermal fuse? If it's the fuse, how do I repair it? Do I take the back off the unit to get to that fuse? What else should I be checking? Thanks!

The access through the transition panel.
