Dryer won't come on at all. No smell or loud noises as far as motor is concerned. Was starting 2nd load of clothes. Wouldn't restart after loading. Door switch and push to start switch tested and working properly. Tested and found proper voltage coming into dryer. Timer makes slight clicking noise as long as push to start switch button is pushed in. Any ideas???

Could find no info using the given Model Number.
Many units have a thermal fuse on the blower assembly. Often it is a white plastic device. Unplug the unit and check it for continuity. Should be 0 ohms.
If you do not have a meter. Unplug the unit. Short the 2 fuse wires together. Tape them up so they cannot short to the frame. Plug it in and give it a try. If it now works, replace the fuse ASAP as it is a safety device and the dryer should not be run without one. Also clean/check your vent system and the blower. Both are common causes for blowing this fuse. |
