Dryer shuts down and the diagnostics show code 68, stuck keypad. Sprayed switches, but still shuts down. I assume it's a bad control module, but maybe someone else has seen this problem before.

For Gene:
This is a customer's dryer, I own a repair co In State College. I do some engineering work, but mainly run the business.
If you have any hard appliance repair problems, just ask, I am at your service.
For Chris_Polk, look at my ranking on this forum, have had my repair business for 25 years since I retired from the AF.

Rich,

Do you really believe I don't know who you are after being working together on this forum for many years?

Sorry man, it was just a joke. Maybe not the best one.

Gene, the remarks where really not for you,but for others. Attempts to demote me or try to show I don't know what I am doing, must be answered.
Sometimes when I am not 100% sure an expensive part is needed/not needed, I look for some confirming evidence. This applies also to decisions to repair, or junk a refrigerator with a suspect bad compressor/refrigerant leak.
