Here is a little back story on my Washer. We purchased it from a used appliance store about 2 years ago. We haven't had any issues with it up until recently. We originally thought it was the drain pump. We did some tinkering around on the machine and found that the component located directly on top of the drain pump (It has two wires that plug into it) is not connecting properly. So for the time being I am forced to tap the Electrical part with a hammer to get my drain pump to kick on and start working. If anyone has information on how I can locate this part or even what it is called, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Really any insight to this headache would be great.

Thank you.

Here is a parts breakdown.
Replacement parts for General Electric WPSR3100W0WW Washer | AppliancePartsPros.com

I am not sure which part you are referring to, it may be part of the pump (Item 655 in Section 3).
Click on the pump's picture and a new page will open with more views and a Q&A section.

Thank you, I did some further digging and since this washing machine is an older model, the pumps no longer look like they did when they were originally produced  . The Pump & Motor assembly has the component I was looking for already attached. I will be purchasing this shortly and Fixing my washing machine.

Thank you again! :)
