We have a frustrating issue with our Whirlpool SF367LEMQ. Ever since we have had it, we can smell very faint traces of gas around the stove, especially when opening the oven. We keep the fan going all the time so that the smell does not build up. If we go away for a few days and the pet-sitter turns the fan off, the smell gets stronger. We have had the stove and oven checked for gas leaks multiple times. BGE came out twice... and could not find the leak with their fancy gas detecting machine that is supposed to be super-sensitive. An oven repair guy came out, and could not find a leak. Our handyman spent a long time checking for leaks everywhere he could think of using a soap solution. Nothing. But... we can still smell gas. I swear this is not my imagination, it is not a paint smell, nothing like that. Any ideas?
