We purchased a Kenmore model 110.77542600 dryer about a year ago and my husband converted it from natural gas to LP. We bought a kit from Sears PartsDirect for this purpose.

We're moving and need to convert it back to natural gas. Can't find the kit we ordered. I looked online and it appears that all we need it a Type 1 burner orifice for this model -- is this correct? They're only $10 from Sears, which is great -- just want to ensure we don't need any additional parts or to make any additional modifications to the dryer to convert it back. I read a post on another website that stated "unscrew the LP gas orifice from the gas valve burner assembly, then you screw the new one in place". Is that it?

Thanks for any pointers! My husband is handy but not a dryer expert and can't completely remember what he did to convert it.

Yes, this is correct.

- The part number for the orifice (type 1) is AP2973833

i am having the same problem, i have a kenmore (110.72202101) gas dryer that was converted to propane and from what i gather there is a conversion kit(694572) to switch to propane but not back that includes 3 parts: a vent, a jet and a plug, but the picture looks like 2 jets. i understand just switching the jet makes sense, my question to Gene or anyone else is do i or we have to replace the vent with the original parts because on my schematic it seems that the to be three parts: leak limiter(694424), screw regulator adjustment(694423) and a spring regulator(694422). It would be great if that wasn't the case. I wouldn't want to mess with the air to fuel ratio. so i guess with all of that said my only real question is should we replace the vent assembly..........or did just changing the jet work just fine? thanks

Hopefully the kit installation instructions will help.

Thanks that helped clarify a lot! But i still have one more question.....in the instructions 13-14 you remove the vent cap and replace it with a blocking pin, so do I need to purchace a vent cap to replace the blocking pin and buy a natural gas jet or can i just buy the jet and leave the blocking pin in place and get back that sweet convenience of doing laundry at home, thanks again for your help!!

In depends on the way how the previous conversion was done. There is no conversion kits available for a reversed conversion. If some pieces are missing you have to by a whole part.
