The interior light just stopped working a few days ago.
I replaced the 40 watt bulb - but it still does not work. I even tested the 40 watt bulb in another appliance - and the bulb worked fine.
I don't see where much else is easily accessible. There is some wiring to the unit that holds the light bulb - but that disappears underneath the covering. There is also the switch - that turns on the light when the door is open and shut - I do not see how to easily access this either?
Is there anything else that I can do short of having to calling a repair man or throwing the refridgerator out. I am very decent in being able to do home repairs - but I don't see any choices to get the light working again.
Thanking you in advance.

Put on a GLOVE and TIGHTEN the bulb!!!! The seal around the bulb is grabbing the bulb before you get it tight enough.:)

You should be able to pry, pop the switch out to bypass it to see if that's the problem.
