Ice maker is no longer making ice. Have replaced filter as suggested and it's still not making ice. wonder if there is a common part that needs to be replaced that everyone has experienced when this happened.

Wit,

The most common issue with your type complaint, is a failed water inlet valve

Part number: AP4327602
Part number: AP4327602

Since you've already checked the filter and tank, the fill valve will be next.

Thanks and Good Luck,

I replaced the part you mentioned last night and this morning I still have no Ice. The light in the freezer is constant so I know that it's on. Do it need to cycle through for 24 hr before ice generates or should I be looking for somthing else? Thanks

Witkowiak, It may take a few hours to cycle properly, but not usually 24hours. Are you sure the tubing from the fill valve to the icemaker, is not kinked, clogged, or restricted ?
You could try, removing the reciever board, and put a jumper wire(paper clip) between pin#3 black and pin#4 black/white of the wire harness connector to the board( this will bypass the sensor system, and supply 120 VAC to the icemaker), then test the icemaker by using a jumper wire and inserting the ends into the "T" and "H" openings of the control head and allow the icemaker to run a test cycle. This will help to confirm the issue could be in the icemaker or the I/R sensor circuit.

Good Luck,

We get water through the water dispenser is it possible we could still have a kink or is the water hose for the ice make a separate hose?

Witkowiak, Yes there are two separate water "systems" in the fridge. The water dispenser tubing is located in the bottom of the refrigerator and the ice maker system runs up the back wall of the fridge. Checking the tubing is the next logical step, with all the work and parts you've already worked with. If you've done the ice maker VAC check per the previous post, and the ice maker has cycled through the test mode, and performed properly, then the issue is neither the ice maker or the valve, and would have to be in the I/R sensor system or the wiring.
I've attached a copy of the "troubleshooting" flow chart, to help you out.
