I replaced the water intake valve and did not mark the three wires that I removed from the old one:(
the coil has 2 terminals, both are the same size, however, there is raised lettering at the terminal base. One has 110/120V and the other has 60Hz stamped on it.
I know where the ground goes, but I'm not sure where the remaining two go. One wire is purple and the other is white.
I know its a 50/50 chance that I'll get it right, but if anyone can tell me where to find out which one goes where, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

It should not make any difference which goes where.
Other then of course the ground wire but you know that one.

The markings you give are just telling you that the valve is 110 to 120 volts AC at 60 hertz.
