Is there an access panel to get to the igniter ? I don't want to tear apart the whole dryer to find the igniter, sensor, and solonoid. Any ideas on how to access this area would be helpful, thank you.

What you do is unplug the dryer. Then get a putty knife, and slide it under the top, about 4 inches from the right end, and there will be a clip under there that you will hit to release the top on that side. Then do the same on the other side, and then lift up the top, and rest it on the back wall. Then we need to take the front off, look inside the front, up top on, the rightside, about 5 inches from the top, and you will see a 1/4 inch screw, remove it and the one on the other side. Then lean the top of the front toward you, and remove the wires from the door switch. Remember where the wires go, because I won't, and then remove the front. All the gas parts are in front of you.
