Freezer will not get cold , frist it was moved , was not pluged back in for months it does have power , fan runs is the thermostat bad possible or some idea what could be wrong? or should i just buy a new one. Thank You Marvin.

Does the compressor run.
The coils on the back should be warm.
The coils in the freezer on the back shouldn't be heavily iced. Some frost is normal.
