I have a hot point washer that will not aggitate. the motor runs when it is supposed to be aggitating but the washer is not aggitating. The belt will turn the drum in spin mode and the water filles and drains. --Anyone have any advice on what is the problem and how to pull the drum to check to see what is wrong

The DRIVE HUB under the agitater has failed, Pull the agitater off, the hub will be lookin rite at ya!!! pull the bolt out and remove the hub,Thats it.:)

How do you pull the aggitater off --- I took the top off and didnt see any bolts ( the top cap of the aggitater stump thing)

They Snap in place,(No bolt) Some can be HARD to remove!!!! Pull up and wiggle it at the same time, BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET IT IN THE FACE!!!!:)
