My Whirlpool Gold won't heat the water on Normal cycle. I believe it is temperature regulated so it won't complete the cycle. What do I check?

A model number may help others help you.
Unplug or remove power from the unit. Check the heater for continuity, usually around 20 ohms. Often there is a hi-limit or control thermostat wired in series with the heating element. It should be 0 ohms. |
