The tech help messages say its the pump? any further suggestion on the true problem. If I order a new switch for this model, they offer a pushbutton switch ($62) and a pushbutton switch assembly ($41) what do I order?

The diagram I looked at on this web-site showed a different diagram (WWC9000SALWH) the diagram of my machine (under the model number I posted) which has a 5-button push-button switch on the upper control panel left side. it is the water selector (hot, cold, normal, gentle...) switch. I beleive the cycle is running through wash, draining/spinning, refilling for rinse, and then stopping. When I push the switch I mention, it seems to make a contact and continue the cycle. It then works again for a little while and then sticks again. It now does this regularly. Thank you for your advice, I hope to order either the (push button switch $61) or the (push button switch assembly $42) which puzzles me on which one to order (if indeed it is this switch) Best Regards, Randall Suleski, Alden, NY (near Buffalo)

If you'll look into the diagram and parts list then you can find under #35 two different pushbutton switches. One (5 buttons) is for the model numbers WWC9000SAL and WWC9400SAL. The second one (3 buttons) is for model numbers WWC8000SAL and WWC8400SAL. If the washer used two different speed for wash and final spin then very possible this switch is the culprit. Gene.

Thank you for clearing me up on the switch (and the model #) I will order the 5-button and see if this works. I can not THANK YOU enough for your help. (Even if this switch isn't the direct culprit, it has male-function and needs replace anyway. Sincerely, Randall Suleski
