I ran the self-clean cycle on my oven yesterday, and the lock never released. The control panel still just says "Lock" and the door won't open. I have tried shutting off the breaker and turning back on. Can you tell me where the latch motor assembly is located and how to get to it, so I can get the part and replace it?

Push the clean button again. Wait 2-3 minutes and push the cancel button.

We have a frigidaire self cleaning oven. after cleaning the door will not release & the alarm is beeping. Tried shutting off power & then tried engaging self-clean again, waiting a few minutes & pressing "clear off" to no avail. I can hear the motor trying to disengage the lock but it is not happening.

Using a metal coat hanger with a loop in the end, try to hook the latch to open the door.
