Our washer drains ok but seems to spins slowly and the clothes are dripping wet when the cycle completes. Is this a clutch issue and can you tell me if replacing the clutch is a big job. I am pretty handy but have not worked on washers before.

It is a clutch issue if the basket is not spinning fast enough, but it may also be a partial obstruction in an internal drain hose.

Replacing the clutch is a good DIY job, here is the part

and a link to the video that will show you how to get into the machine to do the job.

Check those hoses first.

The hose was bent where it hooked to the washing machine. Thanks for your help. :)
