Ice build up around freezer side cooling coil very quickly. Checked bimetal and found out it closes when it is cold. Checked resistance of the defrost heater and its resiatances is 27 ohms. When it it is colde th evolatge is 28V ac at the connector connected to the defrost heater. I dont have access to electrical wiring disgram to check any further. can you tell me teh reason for th ice buil up? When ice is there freezer temperature drops and refregirator side temperature drops as well.:confused:

What is the original problem?

The evaporator coils (cooling coils) normally should be covered with thin snow.
