The icemaker was leaking water inside the freezer and was freezing inside . I took icemaker out and checked the fill line. It wasn't frozen. I then reinstalled the icemaker and turned it on. It harvested ice twice, and then the water wouldn't shut off and water filled the freezer and ran into the ice bin, through the dispenser and flooded the kitchen. Do I need to replace the icemaker or the water valve?

Water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in has failed or stuck open because of wear or sediment in the water line. Part 800 on this diagram of the unit parts. Replacement parts for GE TFX22CRBGWW | AppliancePartsPros.com Disconnect the line coming out of it and see if it's running or leaking there.
