Trying to figure out the wiring to the compressor of this old unit. Has green white and black wires off compressor. Replacing relay with new capacitor relay. not sure what wire is the common wire from compressor, and not sure where to wire in the switch wire from temp control. Any ideas where to get a wiring diagram for this old unit. only model number i can find is LB7 then just serial numbers. Any help would be great, Thanks

What is the "new capacitor relay" you are going to install? Do you have the part number of it?

This hard start relay is coming with very good installation instructions. The 2 black wires with striped ends are for the incoming power. The polarity does not matter.

How to find the compressor Common, Start and Run terminals? Set ohmmeter for the lowest scale. Measure the resistance between each pair of the terminals. The resistance between the Common and the Start (C-S) terminals should be higher than resistance between the Common and the Run (C-R) terminals. The resistance between the Start and the Run terminals should be equal a sum of the resistance between the C-S & C-R terminals.

Can you be more specific on this issue please?

Yes, this is correct.

Did you do anything with the temperature control and the wires connected to it?

How many wires (with their colors) do you see at the compressor? How they were connected?
