my whirlpool washer has stopped draining water ,agitate and spinning..But it will auto fill....
i've already checked to see if hose was plogged ..its ok because thats how i drained most of the dirty water out.

Check the motor coupler.

Often no agitate or spin and no sound of the motor trying to start is the lid switch.

is there a way to by pass or trip the lid switch long enough to get the rest of water out of tub ?
and how long of a "fix it" job would/should it take, replacing the lid switch ?
