Purchased my Maytag Performa in 2006, have never had any issues with it. Yesterday I noticed my clothes were still really wet after washing. After doing another load staying by machine I noticed during wash & rinse cycle the agitator sounds loose. Then during the spin cycles it does not get up to full spin speed and it agitates during entire spin. Any advice would be helpful, Thanks!

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)
It also could be a bad snubber ring under the tranny dome. If it gets out of balance easy, or if you see white shavings under the tranny, that would confirm it.

I will check on both of these possibilities. Thanks so much!
