Water is running from the freezer to the refrigerator. I removed the pan on the bottom of the freezer, exposing the collection area in the back of the freezer. There is ice in the tray. There are two conduits where the water has been running from freezer to refrig. (The ice maker is not operational.) I think the line running to the evaporator pan is clogged. The pan is dry. Any suggestions as to clearing the ice and the evaporator line? Or other thoughts about the problem? Thanks.

Your drain tube must be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough.

I was wondering if it that was you or the son/daughter of Woodchuck. Just looked at your profile and saw that it had been updated and was Alabama etc.
Tried to find you after the other site went bad but could not find contact info, am glad to see you found this site on your own.

Thanks very much for the welcomes. That was bad, what happened to that other site. I've noticed a little of it here. Hope it doesn't happen here. Looks like the whole gang has been hiding out here for a while. I happened upon it while looking for some information at another site.

Yeah, you'd still see some spam here and there but we're catching most of it before anyone sees it and we're working on other improvements as well. I'll stop it at that, after all this is Joe's thread :)
P.S. you now have access to the tech talk, woodchuckie.
