my frigidaire washmachine model # ATF600ES1 will not go to spin cycle. If i put it on spin cycle only than it will work. But it will not go to spin cycle on its on. I keep getting an error saying E20 before it will go to spin cycle and than the machine turns off gives me the error code and I gave to put it on spin only. do you know what might be causing this

Hi my name is Jose, I have the same identical problem as you. I called The AppliancePartsPros technical help line and this is what Karen looked up for E-20 "Check Drain Hose and Pump. something clogging pump" Also in a previous call while this unit was under service agreement coverage I remenber the technician turning the machine on its back to get to the filter and found a penny stock there, I will be doing this now and will let you know of the results. Good luck
I just completed the inspection of the filter and found all kinds of interesting items, including enough coins to buy a Whopper at BK. After removal of foreign items in the filter, my machine is running like new and completes the last cycle by the time allocated. I timed the cycles and there was a difference of 20 seconds in the normal cycle from beginning to end. Good luck and lt me know how it went.
