It makes ice fine. Once in the ice container, all the cubes freeze together to form one large block of ice. What's the problem and the fix? Thanks

Hi,
Check the water pressure to the refrigerator. If it's ok then I would replace the water fill valve.
The water fill valve is located in back of the refrigerator were the water line connects to the refrigerator.

Hi Appliance Junk,
I may not have been clear. The ice maker makes ice fine and dumps it into the ice container on the inside of the freezer just fine. It freezes into a block in the ice container and therfore will not dispense. Hope that helps. Thanks

Make sure your ice molds are not leaking or being filled to overflowing which would drip into the ice bin. The water could also continue dripping from around the fill tube.

What is the temperature in freezer? Make sure the ice maker mold heater (under the ice maker) does not stay "on" more than 5-7 seconds (before releasing the ice cubes).
Gene.
