Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/12/2009(UTC) Posts: 4		Ice maker makes noise like it is working but isn't producing anything. Dispenser side "works" but nothing comes out, not water or ice. It is getting water to the back but won't fill chamber in fridge to make ice. What do I need to replace? Thanks for your help.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 1,363		Water inlet valve. It's where the water comes into the fridge on the back. The valve should click when you try to get water from the dispenser. You can disconnect the line coming out of the valve and try the water to see if water is coming out. If it is, it's stopped up somewhere else
