Called kitchen aid, they said I need a new control board #9782455. I see 2 listings under that # for the control board and the microcomputer. I have found 2 diff part #'s #9782455 & 9782453 which one do I need? the control board or the microcomputer. If I reset the range sometimes I can use the oven one time before it throws the error code again

I do not think the problem is a bad control board. Most likely the problem is a shorted key on the key pad. The key pad comes as a part of the console. If you need the correct part number then post the color of the console. Here are the break down diagrams and the parts list for the Kitchen Aid range Model KERC607HBS8Gene.

Gene, the part is listes twice. As ap3174902 and ap3174907. Looke like the same part. Is the 3174907 a updated #
