The model is GE: TAX10SNSALWH. Manufacture date: 5/94 and a single door 10'. When pugged in everything appears to be working-makes sounds and compressor is wam and humming but no temp drop inside. Fridge had been sitting in a friends garage unplugged for a very long period. Friend said it had worked fine before he unplugged it. Also he had left some spilled beer inside and there was a lot of mildew and mold that had built up inside that took a couple of hours to clean out. Also I had left it pugged in for about two days and still no cooling. I just read that refrigerators shouldnt be transported on their sides as I as I did and possibly there is now oil in the lines causing the problem. Any help appreciated Thanks! ROlf

Thanks for reply Yes unfortunately it was moved on its side before I knew any better. But it was not plugged in for several hours after being moved to upright position. The coil direclty out of the compressor leading up to the condensor (if that what you mean by condensor coil) is warm but the condenser covering the back of the fridge is not-only room temp.
