I have a whirlpool quite partner 2 which is about 2 years old. It started making a clacking sound inside door. I took door panel off and found that the soap dispenser door latch was continuously moving back and forth making the clacking sound, it would stay engaged as I think it is suppose 2.

Anyway I ordered new dispenser from app and replaced old one. The new dispenser does the samething. I traced the wires from the solenoid behind dispenser and didn't find anything wrong. I haven't hooked a meter to it.

Any suggestion what may be wrong. Thanks.

By the way the parts from App was sent super fast and nothing wrong with those parts just to be clear
