I have a Westinghouse side by side refrigarator freezer, and down the middle:(a strip about 1.5inches) where both doors meet and close, it is to hot to the touch? whats going on?

Odds are that there is a problem with the cooling of the condenser coils under the unit.

Remove the front kick plate and rear cover.
Clean all vents.
Clean the condenser coils.
Check that the condenser/compressor fan is running. When the compressor is running the fan should be on.
Clean the condenser fan blades.
