The cover to the temperature control/ice maker control has cracked. Am I able to buy just the cover? What is part number? Is this held in place with adhesive or do I need to dissemble the ice maker and replace the entire module? I was given part number AP4485143 from one source and WR13X10828 from another source. All I need is the plastic cover in white.

Hi,
Did you ever get this part? I need only the electronic board from your old one if you have it. Both part numbers are valid, the "AP" number is meant to confuse you so you are unable to price compare. I try to stay away from those sellers. Put it up on the biggest auction site (eb) and I'll buy it. -henry

Never did replace the control cover since it required replacing the whole electronic unit. We're just living with white tape over the worn button.

mehoss, does not know what he is talking about.

The WR number is the manufacturer's part number.
The AP number is the AppliancePartsPros part number.
They have to have their own in house number because they sell parts for a number of different manufacturers so if two manufacturers had the same part number you would end up getting the wrong part.

If you looked at the part AppliancePartsPros does list both numbers and also what other part numbers this part will replace.

PS. I do not work for AppliancePartsPros but it bugs me when someone rags on a site that hosts a help forum that is open to everyone as a public service.
