My dryer runs great but will not heat and the timer on the timed cycle does not count down. I have checked the power coming in and that seems fine. No wires are off on the timer/control. Is it possible this is the cycling thermostat, or another problem? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks to the forum, I determined the heater element coil had an obvious break, which was definitely the problem. Thanks again to all the posts on the forum for helping.
