Every 2 or three days the freezer section drips water from the front bottom of the ice maker. I believe it has to do with the defrost system freezing up and not draining down the tube in the back to the evaporation tray.

This happened a year ago. I defrosted the freezer completely manually by turning the unit off for a day. When I turned it back on and instructed my wife not to crank the thermostat any higher than 5 the problem did not come back. At least not for a long time (a year). I have noticed that someone is cranking it up again. I have found it several times on 7.
When I called Sub Zero for help they said they couldn't because there was more than one defrost and I needed an authorized technician.
Would it be too costly to change out all the heaters?
I don't believe it has anything to do with the water fill for the ice maker as we always have plenty of ice. And it ony happens every 2 or 3 days.

Thanks
