Sirs: I have just replaced the defrost timer, heater, and thermostat on an Admiral refrigerator model NT19L6. The timer part# is 4391974 and plugs right in , but has a black jumper attached to it and a separate blue jumper. What do I do with these?? Mark

This timer should come with the installation instructions. Here is the one: Installation instructions.

Gene: Thanks, we did get that info with the timer. But do I want the 6 hr. continuous or 6 hr. cumulative?. What happens if I choose neither? The instructions say to refer to the wiring diagram that came with the fridge, but I can't find that, although there is a parts diagram on the back of the fridge. Thanks for your help, Mark

You want to use the 6 Hrs continuous schematic. In order to be 100% positive make sure the wire connected to the terminal "1" from the wire harness plug has 120 VAC.

There is an extra blue jumper wire...I assume that this is not connected to terminals 3 and 4 which the instructions suggest for a "three-wire hookup"....correct??? Mark

Yes, Mark. Disregard this wire.

Mark,

I'm glad you were able to fix it.
