Hello All. I am requesting some feedback from you guys on a washing mach. mod. # (WTW57ESVW1) which wont start in any of the cycles or do anything. completely dead. I put a new timer on it & also a new automatic temp. switch sensor but no help. I did a continuity check on lid switch and on a main wire harness. everything seems ok. still no help. any advice would be appreciated. thank you

Can you rotate timer to spin and see if it will even spin? If you are not getting any response on any cycle or selection, then you will have to assume it is not getting proper voltage. Check it at outlet, if good, then check at wiring block where cord connects to machine... if good there, check timer to see if voltage.... then inlet valves, then all else. You may have a bad wire somewhere if voltage is present at all components. Maybe a faulty neutral or ground.

If there is proper voltage to the washer, check for 120 VAC between the violet wire connected to the load sensing switch and the ground while the timer calls for wash. If the reading is correct, replace the load sensing switch. - The load sensing switch Part number: AP4459660
