Hi,

I recently moved into a home that has a Frigidaire Side by Side Refrigerator. It is model number: FRS23KF5CB2.

The problem I am having is that the ice maker will not make ice. To make matters worse, water tends to spew out uncontrollably when the ice maker is on.

The water does not come out on its on when the ice maker is off. Also, the water comes out of the water area and not the ice maker.

Can someone help? Thanks in advance.

Hey there, my fridge is doing the exact same thing. Did you ever find a fix for this?

I just replaced my ice maker and "now" it is doing the same as your posting. I had to turn off the ice maker so my kitchen wouldn't get water everywhere.
