Need some help with our dishwasher. I can fix a boat, but this thing has me beat! The unit will run through all cycles just fine and the dryer also works. The problem is that after the drying cycle, it will pass through the off position and will start the wash cycle over. Same on “Pots/Pans”, ‘Heavy”, “Normal”. “Light” and/or if drying cycle is turned off. I thought it might be the timer unit, so after spending $100 on a new timer, I find that it does the same thing. It will run over and over, never turning off. So if it is not the time unit, what is next? Many thanks in advance for any help.

maybe you put the same timer back in. I have put bad parts in before. check it out also look at the wiring. make sure no wires are melted together.

Many thanks for the response. Opened new timer from sealed package. Wiring condition a possibility that I will check tomorrow – also maybe polarity.
