I am getting water collecting in the area between the freezer and the refrigerator compartments. The panel on top of the fridge compartment also houses the light fixture. When you press on the panel water comes out the ventilation holes and the light fixture. What's happening?

it appears the drain trough hole in freezer compartment is blocked up , when freezer goes into defrost mode the defrosted water off the evaporator coils goes into drain trough .down drain hose to drain pan at bootom of fridge where it evaporates if draintrough is blocked ice will build up in draintrough, open freezer panel to verify. then get back to me

I'm not sure which panel you mean. I looked it up in the parts and took the panel off of the back which is tall and narrow. There were wires and pipes inside. I couldn't feel anything frozen. Is the panel you speak of accessed from inside the freezer or outside?

Neither water or ice. I found no drain trough. I may be looking in the wrong place. Maybe we'll have to do this by phone. I can call the toll free tomorrow. Thanks for trying to help.
