I have a Whirlpool Heavy Duty Extra Large Capacity Plus washer that needs agitator repair. I can't get to the back panel of it to get a part number. The only thing I see is on the lid where it says Stylemaster No. 4216273 Revision 1, though this is hard painted on the lid and doesn't look like a part number.

I just need to know what cam I need - whether long or medium. I suspect Long.

Here are 2 photos of the top panel for identification. Any help you can give me in identifying which agitator repair kit I need would be greatly appreciated.

The model/serial number tag would not be on the back of this washer.
Open the lid and look around the rim of the washer opening.
It will be towards the back and maybe hard to see with the lid in the way.

If you still can not find a model number then just order the agitator dogs instead of the repair kit.

Long or med. cam they all use the same agitator dogs.

I never saw the number before, but I looked where you said and found it.

It is a LXR9245E

Looks like you need the medium cam kit (AP3138838), or as AJ pointed out, just get the dogs (AP3119063).

Just a socket to remove the agitator and some small hands to hold it together while you put everything back into the top. I find it best to install the cam kit while holding the agitator up side down so the dogs all stay in place. Once it's in the agitator, turn it over and put it back on the drive shaft.
