Roper washer tub badly out of alignment. Checked suspension springs and they were all there. Balance spring had fallen off, replaced but no help. You can move the tub into position by hand but it immediately falls out of alignment again. Suggestions?

The top of the tub leans toward you as you are standing in front of it.

Will attempt to remove front panel tonight to confirm front tub support has collapsed as per misterfixall's suggestion.

The rear spring that runs between the tub support and the bottom frame has broken, The front panel does NOT come off your washer, The COMPLETE CABINET comes off in 1 piece, Remove the 2 screws at the rear corners of the console, slide the console ahead 1" and rotate it ovwr backwards, remove the 3 wire plug that is just rt of center at the rear of the washer top, take a flat blade screwdriver and pop the 2 GOLD colored clips off.(put the driver into the slot and push backwards to pop the clips) Pull the ENTIRE cabinet off paying attention to where the bottom of the cabinet lines up with the frame.(2tabs in front,2 tabs at rear corners) With it removed, look at the REAR on the left side and you will find a 6" long broken spring!!!!!

Received my manual I had ordered about the same time as Drags1998's instructions. So followed housing removal and realized I had reattached the balance spring horizontially instead of vertically. Its what happens when you try to repair laying on it's front. (smile) Anyway when I went to move the spring found the attachment hole in the frame had rusted out. Finally the real issue, so drilled a new hole and reattached. Wife and kids now happy. Thanks everyone.
