I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis electric dryer. It stopped working last week and I ordered then rem/rep the thermal fuse. Voila!! It started working again. I think I have found why the fuse was blown....the dryer is heating up so much that it is hard to even pull the clothes out because they are so hot!!!

Tried running the dryer on different settings (i.e. delicate, casual) and it still gets WAY TOO HOT!!

Please help...

Thank you.

Did you replace the upper limit thermostat? I viewed a video at this site and it is an easy fix. I think it said the thermal fuse and upper limit thermostat are replaced together.
