I have a cracked glass cooktop on my 13-year-old Magic Chef range. I would like to replace it, but have been told (both by my appliance repair people and by your customer service rep) that the part has been discontinued, although other parts for the range are available. (Very frustrating!) I am hoping you can find this part somewhere. The Model number is 7858XVA. The part number is AP373014. Thanks for your help.

When you can buy a NEW Glass top range for $500, It would be (in My professional opinion) a bad idea to spend $3-400 for a new top(IF YOU CAN FIND ONE!!!) I looked around and couldn't find 1. Sorry!!!!

Part of my problem is that they don't make stoves like the one I have anymore. Mine has a lower oven, a cooktop in the middle and an upper oven including a fan on top. My kitchen is set up for this kind of a stove, so it would require some remodeling if I got a new and different kind of stove. I guess I'll just have to live with it for the time being. I have looked everywhere for the top and just can't find it. Thanks for your reply.
