I'm troubleshooting a refridgerator (Samsung- RS2533SW) that stopped blowing cold air and is now just blowing slight cool air. I pulled the back panel off and the circuit board audibly turns on (click sound- I removed the circuit board and visually checked it over with no issues), the compressor/evaporator fan works, the compressor can be heard/felt turning on and it runs for about a minute and then turns off (it cylcles on and off), and the inside/condenser fan works. Is low freon the cause or is there something I can check to possibly fix the issue? ... extra info: the refridgerator seemed to just stop cooling over night and did not gradually lose coolness/ I replaced the ice maker about 2-3 months prior and it was correctly installed/ Also, when I pulled the back panel off, I noticed some dry oily-looking fluid (brown in color) in the pan under the evaporator/ I also noticed a tiny amount of greenish dust under one of the compressor joints. -Thanks ahead for any advice

Please help.. I'm leaning toward buying a new refriderator but I would prefer a fix if it is much cheaper to repair. I've heard it can be a very costly repair to recharge the system with freon if it has a leak since there are no service ports for ac machine hookups. It almost appears as if the whole system would need to be replaced to refill it with freon. Please help.
