My Maytag LSE7804ACM is blowing the in-line fuse immediately when trying to run wash cycle. Checked running on Spin Cycle and machine spun without blowing fuse. A little over a year ago I replaced the Lid Check Switch & Lid PC Switch because it was doing the same thing and problem was solved. I am trying to figure out if one or both of these switches is faulty again or if I have another issue.

I checked the continuity on the Lid Check Switch with Top Side Connector & Bottom Connector and get reading of 0.02, but when I hold down switch button the reading goes to Infinity. With Bottom Side Connector & Bottom Connector get reading of Infinity, but when I hold down switch button the reading goes to 0.02. Sound good or bad?

Checking continuity on PC Switch it reads Infinity, but when I hold down switch button reading goes to 0.02. Sound good or bad?

If these switches are both good, any idea what else would be causing the fuse to blow?

Thanks for any help!!

I think the switches are ok, not sure why the fuse is blowing but that is a very low amp fuse. Trace the wiring to and from the switch back and see if the wiring has a bare spot or is slightly shorting out somewhere.
