Hello,

Last night I attempted to set my range for a 2 hour self clean cycle. Fridgidaire model BFEF374CS3. When I finsihed setting the clock, I would normally hear the lock set itself. This time I could hear the clock kinda of clicking (trying to rotate to lock the door but it did not lock (sounded like a solenoid that isn't working).

After that it flashed betwed F9 and dr and won't stop beeping. I unpugged it last night but when I pliugged it back in tonight, it simply started the process over again. The lock tried to set (unsuccessfully) and it begain beeping with the error codes flashing.

I must also say that the last time I used the self clean, the dorr would not unlock and I got similar error codes. I eventually unplugged and plugged it back in enough times that the lock moved far enough (maybe to the 1:30 position - normally sits as 12:00 position when unlocked).

Thanks for any advice anyone can provide!

You may have to unplug the oven (or disable to breaker) until it cools. I had to tug a bit to get the door to open. Once it was open, there is a black button in the top right corner of the stove that senses the door being open/shut. Hold that button down and turn the silver door lock in the center counter clockwise until it is straight up. This will tell the oven that the door is no longer locked and resets the code. You should not hear the beeping after that.

It was a bit tough to get mine to turn but once it did it worked. Turn until you hear the click and the light goes off! Thank you so much!!
