We bought refrigerator in 2005, but icemaker was never hooked up, we got water to icemaker, noticed defect from factory, no line from icemaker to line in back of refrigerator, need to know what part to order to connect icemaker to line...Whirlpool model #TT18TKXPQ01

I am guessing you are looking at the fitting (AP2992967) that goes through the back of the freezer panel. The water line from the valve that runs up the back will connect to it on the outside and it should slide over the fill cup of the ice maker on the inside.
