We are trying to replace a start relay device and overload to a Kenmore refrigerator, model # 596.50392000. Purchased starter device 8201799- Instruction have color wires of red, blue, and white (only three wires), My fridge has 2 black, 1 blue, 1 grey, and 1 pink wire. They do not match. I am not sure where each wire goes and when I do plug them in where I think they are suppose to go there is one black and one pink wire left (not plugged in) Is that okay? The new device one has three places to plug in where my old one had 5. Please help!! Thank you for any response.

Is your old start device a large, tan box.
