This is a side by side refrigerator with the freezer side working fine, but the refigerator side not cooling. I replaced the damper on the refrigerator side and thought this would take care of the problem. Instead the damper stays closed all the time no matter how cool I put the setting on the temp control. I have been using a screwdriver to keep the damper open and cool the refrigerator, but this is not a great way to regulate the temperature. Any suggestions on what is wrong now?

The refrigerator control might be jammed. AP2116225 You could try spraying it with a non-residue contact cleaner, or just order a new one.

I will give that a try and see if that takes care of the problem. Thanks
